I am finally going to do it… I am writing my own fantasy-epic-poem, based on both classic tropes of the genre and my own fictional universe. I have been writing both texts and lyrics for music based in the “Gjerdingsæter”-universe (the whole original Hatskrømt-trilogy of “Riddergrav”, “Oldingen” and “Ormegård” is based in the same literal universe as “Gjerdinsæterkvadet”.) The poem is far from done, but I am 2.000 words in, so there is something to read. An English translation will come at some point.
